The meeting with Shoukei Matsumoto was followed by a morning cleaning at the Hōnen-in Temple. Together we swept the stairs to remove the leaves, which got stuck between the uneven cobblestones.
In peaceful quietness we moved forward, time was flying. I learned a lot these day.

While cleaning my mind was wandering between the effort one has to put in maintaining an unbetonzied pathway - which next to being beautiful, also allows insects and life to spread - and what it feels to clean for others and as part of a team.
The fresh air of the morning stayed with me the whole day.
